A Week In Eugene

I was invited by my, as it turns out, life-long friend to visit her and her family for a week. I rode the train for the first time and enjoyed it thoroughly. I saw my daughter perform in the U of O Concert Choir. I attended the choir and dance performances of my friend’s daughter. It was a wonderful time full of Christmas celebration and rest for my tired soul.

For most of the Fall, I’ve been creatively dead. This break in my routine stirred my soul back to life again. While I didn’t create any great art while I was away, I enjoyed myself immensely! I returned home inspired to make 2012, well, all it is meant to be.

(and I may just learn Photoshop yet!)

My first spark of Christmas spirit happened here when I saw my friends’ tree.
